  • Representative Client Experience

    • Represents entertainment companies and content creators, including recording artists (e.g., Creed, 1999 – 2004), authors, producers, and songwriters, in all areas, including contract negotiations, litigation, and business. Has represented clients in entertainment law litigation in state and federal courts in Florida, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Las Vegas. Has appeared twice in amicus briefs on entertainment litigation before the Supreme Court of Florida.
    • Represents copyright and trademark owners in filing and defense of intellectual property matters, primarily in federal courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in Alexandria, Virginia.
    • Represents individuals, businesses, and associations in Americans with Disability Act litigation in federal court.
    • Represents businesses and business owners both in mergers and acquisitions and in commercial litigation.
    • Represents individuals, businesses, and associations before appellate courts throughout Florida.

    • Author of chapter on “Parental Responsibility” for eight years (four separate editions), in The Florida Bar CLE Publications’ primary work on family law, Florida Dissolution of Marriage.
    • Primary author of chapter titled, “Hopelessly Defective: An Examination of the Economic Assumptions Underlying Child Support Guidelines,” published in The Law and Economics of Child Support Payments (Edward Elgar Pub. 2004).
