Profile

Richard “Rick” Miller is an attorney with more than 15 years of mediation experience. He is an Assistant Trainer for the Florida Supreme Court’s Dispute Resolution Center and has served as a role-play coach for the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Fundamentals of Mediation Training Program since the program’s inception in 2017.

A Florida Supreme Court certified circuit, county, and family mediator, Rick regularly conducts workshops on cross-cultural fluency and fostering resolution in dispute settlement. He volunteers as a trainer in mediation courses at Florida State University College of Law and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law; Rick also volunteers as a judge of mediation and negotiation competitions, including the American Bar Association Mediation Competition. While working pro bono, he has assisted parties in reaching full agreements in more than 94% of court-connected mediations.

Rick is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Tallahassee Bar Association.
