The law firm of Messer Caparello, P.A. is pleased to announce that Nicholas “Nick” Cleary has joined the Firm as an associate attorney.
Mr. Cleary was most recently an assistant general counsel at the Florida Department of Education, where he provided legal advice and representation to the Commissioner of Education and various units within the Department. In this role, Mr. Cleary served as the Department’s Chief Ethics Officer, advising employees as to Florida’s ethics, public records, and open meeting requirements.
After law school, Mr. Cleary clerked at the First District Court of Appeal for the Honorable Timothy D. Osterhaus and at the Florida Supreme Court for the Honorable Ricky L. Polston.
